What I’ll miss most (Part 1)

Inspired by my good friend Michaela, who also happens to be my soon-to-be flat mate and up-and-coming youtube star, I have decided to make a list of things I’ll miss the most next year during my year away from home. When I started thinking about what I would include in this, a lot of different things came to mind, so I thought I’d make a series of posts dedicated to everything that I’ll miss. I think it’d be way too hard to sequence them in order of importance, so there is no significance in how they’re numbered.

  1. Pyrmont Bridge: I walk this bridge nearly every day, twice a day. Sometimes I rush through, either late for work or trying to catch my bus home; Other times I slow it down and take in the view. Being on the edge of the city centre, it sort of acts as the limbo between the crazy city vibe and the more relaxed harbour lifestyle.

  2. Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay Wharf & King St Wharf: As much as I ‘trash-talk’ this place, primarily because I’m ALWAYS here, I’m not going to lie -I will miss it here. Both my jobs are here so perhaps I subconsciously associate bad experiences with customers and sleep deprivation with this iconic Sydney tourist destination. But putting that aside, Darling Harbour is one of Sydney’s beautiful gems that I’ve been lucky enough to visit every day. It’s one of those places you don’t mind going to by yourself. Darling HarbourDarling HarbourCockle Bay WharfCockle Bay WharfKing St Wharf
