Hi there, kamusta, hola!

I’m Angelica – Gel for short – from Sydney, Australia and I am the mastermind behind this little blog. I am formally a Marketer (currently a Marketing Assistant for a global recruitment company), but less formally, a polka-dot enthusiast and “professional” brunch eater.

I’ve been fortunate enough to travel to more than 25 countries in my 23 years of life and live for a period of time in the Philippines with my family and then on my own in Madrid, Spain. I am in love with experiencing different cultures, eating different foods, exploring different lands and getting lost in tiny towns. I draw, paint, and create for fun and would rather read a book than play a team sport. I am obsessed with dogs, doggos, doges, puppers, pupperinos and floofs – but I am allergic to them. I don’t understand cats – I am also allergic to them. Oh, and I make a mean cheese platter. Is this a rounded enough blurb about me?

You’re either here because I had no shame in asking you to check out my page, or for some reason, you got lost while navigating through cyberspace and accidentally clicked my site. Either way, WELCOME! I’ll give you a quick rundown on what exactly it is I do here – the spark notes version:

• I originally started this to primarily document my year abroad on exchange in Madrid, España in 2015 (pls refer to my first blog post to paint a clearer picture for you)
• After mentioning the above, I am still trying to figure out what direction this space should take – but it’s a space to watch nonetheless!
